【Precautions for installation】
■Washi wallpaper ① (except ②, ③, internally illuminated washi paper and partition washi paper)
< Inspection and confirmation >
・Please check the product thoroughly before installation.
・Since the products are made of natural materials and processed by hand, there may be slight differences in color, appearance, and size.
・Please note that there may be some irregularities due to the nature of natural materials.
<Preparation>
・Please note that this will appear on the surface of the paper if the wall is not primed.
・Please apply primer and sealer.
<Adhesives>
・We recommend Wall Bond 100/105 or other adhesive glue for wallpaper installation.
(Wall Bond 100/105: Starch based adhesive)
(Please use the adhesive according to the instructions of the adhesive manufacturer.)
<Installation Method>
1)for handmade paper and wallpaper without backing
Basically, for products without backing, it is recommended to use the direct application method with an overlap of approximately 1 to 3 cm.
2)for wallpaper with backing base
Please use the overlapping and joint cutting construction depending on the combination of design.
<Installation procedure>
・After spreading the glue well and applying it, please take open time until the glue is fully blended into the wallpaper.
(This may vary slightly depending on the climate, temperature, humidity, and site conditions.)
・When folding, be careful not to crease the folded part.
・When overlapping, it is recommended to apply from the bottom to the top to prevent dust from accumulating in the overlapped area.
・When applying the overlapped area with a roller, please put a piece of paper over the overlapped area.
・The paper is made of natural materials and dyed with dyes and pigments.
Please do not wipe with water as it may cause the color to fade.
・When pressing the joint part, please apply a paper pad on the part to avoid crushing the surface of the Washi paper.
<Other points to keep in mind>
*Please note that the paper will not finish cleanly if the area is dusty or has not been sufficiently cleaned.
*For Japanese paper containing fibers, be careful not to cause fluffing.
*Use a brush as soft as possible.
*After application, dusting with a brush or broom is sufficient for maintenance.
*If you find any defects in the product before installation, please contact us immediately.
*Please note that we cannot accept any claims regarding the product after installation.

(Wall Bond 100/105: Starch based adhesive)
(Please use the adhesive according to the instructions of the adhesive manufacturer.)
<Installation method>
・We recommend that you cut off the edge of the product and apply the adhesive directly to the base material, overlapping it by approximately 1 to 2 cm.
・We recommend applying the glue directly to the substrate, instead of the washi paper itself.
・If the washi is hard, it is effective to lightly mist the back side of the washi with water. However, the surface material will peel off if too much water is applied or too much time is left.
(This will vary slightly depending on the climate, temperature, humidity, and site conditions.)
・When folding, please be careful not to get wrinkles.
・When crimping the overlapped area with a roller, please put a piece of paper over the overlapped area.
・The paper is made of natural materials and dyed with dyes and pigments.
Please do not wipe with water to avoid color fading.
・When pressing down the joint part, please apply a paper pad to the paper to avoid crushing the surface of the Washi paper.
・If the paper has a strong curl, it is recommended to thicken the bond to increase the initial adhesion.
・When settling washi, use a soft brush, smoother, or sponge roller.
・Do not rub the surface strongly.
・Avoid rapid drying.

■Washi Cloth (3)
Item no.: KPU900-1~KPU910-6
<Confirmation of inspection>
Please check the product thoroughly before installation.
<Preparation>
・Please note that this will appear on the surface of the paper if the wall is not primed.
・Please apply primer and sealer.
<Adhesives>
・We recommend Wall Bond 100/105 or other adhesive glue for wallpaper installation.
(Wall Bond 100/105: Starch based adhesive)
(Please use the adhesive according to the instructions of the adhesive manufacturer.)
<Installation Procedure>
・After spreading the glue well and applying it, please allow open time for the glue to fully absorb into the wallpaper.
(This may vary slightly depending on climate, temperature, humidity, and site conditions.)
・After gluing, avoid folding the paper strongly and fold it as wide as possible to avoid piling it on top of each other.
・We recommend that you use a joint cutting method. (Overlapping is not recommended.)
・When tanning the joints, please apply a paper pad to the surface of the Washi to avoid crushing the surface if the roller is applied too strongly.
・If the paper has a strong curl, it is recommended to thicken the bond to increase the initial adhesion.
・When settling washi, use a soft brush, smoother, or sponge roller.
・When applying Washi with fibers, please be careful not to let the paper fluff up.
・We recommend that the paper be cut in layers to minimize the gap between the layers.
・The paper is made of natural materials and dyed with dyes and pigments.
Do not wipe with water to avoid color fading.
<After installation>
・Avoid rapid drying.
・If adhesive gets on the surface, the luster of the paper may change.
・If the adhesive gets on the surface, lightly wet a clean towel with water and pat it off without rubbing. If you rub hard, the color may drop off and the surface may look whitish.

・Apply the adhesive to the glass or acrylic surface with a sponge roller and affix the Washi paper.
・Soften the paper by lightly moistening it with a misting spray or the like.

Please be careful when holding only the surface layer, as it may peel off.
・If the Washi peels off, hold it with a clean cloth.
<Other points to keep in mind>
*When bonding thick or uneven Washi paper to glass or acrylic, lightly tap the gap with a brush to ensure a clean bond.
*If the paper is wrinkled, carefully smooth out the wrinkles while applying the paper.
*Use a brush that is as soft as possible.
*KPU145 should be applied to laminated glass.
*KPU139 is easy to peel off from the surface, so please use a paper pad when applying.
*In case of installation with glass sand, please let the Washi pasted on one side dry completely before inserting it into the glass.
